In the warmer months, the lake invites you to enjoy the water, the wind and outdoor sport.
Sailing, stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing offer different ways to experience Lake Trasimeno. Schools and rental operators work along its shores: choose an activity suited to your experience and the conditions on the day. Your first outing can be an opportunity to get to know the water with an instructor. For each activity, confirm the meeting place, equipment and availability with the provider; wind and weather can change the programme. Confirm the programme and conditions with the provider before setting out.
Swimwear, towel, dry change of clothes, water and sun protection. Ask the school which footwear and safety equipment are required or provided.
Choose an activity that suits your ability and the lake conditions. If you are new to the sport, book an instructor; equipment rental does not include a lesson.
Meet at the base of the chosen provider. Booking, equipment, any lesson and travel are arranged separately from your stay.
