PACIANO – What to do for Valentine’s Day? When a holiday comes around, choosing a gift can feel difficult, especially when the day seems so commercial. Perhaps the best gift is simply time together.
In 2020 Valentine’s Day fell on a Friday, a perfect excuse for a weekend away and a little relaxation.
At the time we offered two nights in an apartment for €120 per couple. The offer included breakfast with local organic produce and exclusive use of our wellness area. This was a historical promotion and is no longer available.
Lake Trasimeno provided the backdrop, while local restaurants offered the flavours of Umbria: La Loggetta in Paciano, Il Poderaccio, Il Casale and Bruno Coppetta in Città della Pieve.
Our friends at Cantinone Trasimeno could add an aperitif, and those interested could arrange a visit and tasting at Il Poggio winery.
